Bachelor degree, master degree and doctorate in Philosophy from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, with collaborative period on ENS-LSH (Lyon, France). Post-doctoral research about dance at the Universidade de São Paulo post-graduate studies program. Professor at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Researches the body as a philosophical question, the relationship between body and image in its aesthetical, ethical, political and epistemological implications, having Deleuze, Espinosa and, more recently, Paul B. Preciado, as main references. Author of the books Corpo e pensamento: alianças conceituais entre Deleuze e Espinosa and Devires filosofantes. President of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetics.
LUAN CORRÊA DA SILVA

Professor in the Department of Philosophy and the Graduate Program in Philosophy (PPGFil) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). His areas of study include Ontology, Aesthetics, and Philosophy of Art, with a particular focus on music. He has a research background and specialized publications on the philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer, with a current project dedicated to Schopenhauer’s metaphysics of music, examining its legacy and impact. He coordinates the Philosophy and Music Study Group (GEFIM) at UFSC and is the editor-in-chief of Voluntas: International Journal of Philosophy.
MARCELA OLIVEIRA

Doctorate in Philosophy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).Professor at the Department of Philosophy at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Researches themes in Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art and Contemporary Philosophy, with emphasis on Walter Benjamin and the relationship between theory, literature and theater. Member of the Aesthetics Working Group at ANPOF. Author of the book Teatro da espera: Beckett e a ruína do drama (7Letras, 2018).
PAOLO COLOSSO
UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SANTA CATARINA
Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in the Graduate Program in Philosophy and in the Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism, of which he was coordinator (2020-2022) and sub-coordinator (2022-2024). He has a degree in Philosophy from Unicamp (2012), a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (2015), where he also developed his doctoral thesis (2015-2019). In 2018 and 2019, he completed an internship supervised by Michael Löwy at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. He is the author of the book Rem Koolhaas in delirous metropolis: between Bigness and big business (Annablume, 2017). With BrCidades, he won an award from the São Paulo Association of Art Critics in the Urbanity category (2019) and produced the technical report for GT Cidades in the Lula Government Transition team. He was curator of the exhibition and festival Post-pandemic cities: a common work on the horizon, at Museu da Escola Catarinense in Florianópolis. He publishes regularly in Carta Capital and on the Outras Palavras platform.
PEDRO FERNANDES GALÉ

Pedro Fernandes Gale has a degree in philosophy from the University of São Paulo, where he also obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees. His thesis Winckelmann: uma história da arte entre a norma e a forma was awarded as the Outstanding Thesis Prize (USP) in 2017. He is the author of the book Goethe: o olhar e o mundo das formas (Edições 70, 2019) and organizer, among other professors, of the books Arte e filosofia no idealismo alemão (2018) and Estética em perspectiva (2019). He is Professor of Aesthetics at the Philosophy Department in Universidade Federal de São Carlos.
PEDRO FRANCESCHINI

Doctorate in Philosophy at the Universidade de São Paulo, with collaborative period in Ruhr Universität Bochum/Hegel Archiv. Professor at the Universidade Federal da Bahia. Researches themes in Aesthetics and Modern Philosophy, with special focus on Romanticism and German Idealism, but also literary works. Published papers and book chapters on authors such as Schiller, Hölderlin, and Schelling, and translated into Portuguese the aesthetic writings of Herder. Board member of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetics.
ROSA GABRIELLA DE CASTRO GONÇALVES

Bachelor degree, master degree and doctorate in Philosophy from Universidade de São Paulo. Postdoctoral research on Art History at the Art and Art History Department of Stanford University. Full professor at the Art History and Painting Department of the Universidade Federal da Bahia. Experience in Art Theory and Aesthetics, specially modern and contemporary. Published Kant, Greenberg e a questão do formalismo na arte. Board member of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetics.
ULISSES RAZZANTE VACCARI
UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SANTA CATARINA
PhD in philosophy from USP, is currently a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He completed a postdoctoral internship at the Freie Universität in Berlin, was a visiting professor at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, and a researcher at the Walter Benjamin-Archiv Berlin. He translated philosophical works from German, such as Adorno, Fichte and Hölderlin. He has published The Aesthetics of Paradox: Aesthetics and Philosophy in Hölderlin (Edufsc, 2022) and Game of Mirrors: Walter Benjamin Literary Critic (7Letras, 2024). His area of expertise is the history of modern and contemporary philosophy and aesthetics, mainly in German philosophy of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
VLADIMIR VIEIRA
UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL FLUMINENSE
Professor of Philosophy at Universidade Federal Fluminense. His area of research comprises Aesthetics and Modern Philosophy, with emphasis on Kantian philosophy, its predecessors and influences. Vieira has published several papers on authors such as Kant, Schiller, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and Hume, and translated Schiller’s aesthetic essays on tragedy and on the sublime into Portuguese. He is currently vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetics.
